Chapter One Returns and Refunds Policies
1. Return Policy
1.2 BirdLife Botswana merchandise Items shipped or collected from BirdLife Botswana.org, can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment or purchase in most cases.
1.3 Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them.
1.4 If you aren’t completely satisfied we’re happy to give you a full refund up to 365 days after you received the product.
1.5 Shipping cost on returns where visitors want to return and/ or costs of shipping ordered products shall be at product owner’s costs.
1.6 And shall be BirdLife Botswana’s responsibility to organize the product logistics with locally trackable shipping Companies preferred by parcel/product owner.
1.7 Also refer to terms of refunds of product in the donations and membership terms and conditions in section 5.5 for general policy on product refunds.
2. Seller Return Policy
2.2 When you order from a seller that fulfills and ships its own inventory (also called a third party seller), you should direct the return back to the seller instead of BirdLife Botswana. While sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to BirdLife Botswana, some seller returns policies may vary. You have to view the Seller's return policy before you purchase an item.
2.3 Third party sellers must either provide a return address or offer a full refund without requesting the item be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may contact the seller or alternatively our direct line on +267 3190540 to seek help with your return.
3. BirdLife Botswana Merchandise Products
3.1 All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
3.2 Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
3.3 Unless otherwise specified, no sale of digital, jewelry and watch products on BirdLife Botswana.org no shipping of the specified product(s) threshold.
3.4 Items must be returned using a trackable shipping method or proof of purchase receipts.
3.5 Any item returned without original documentation will be rejected.
3.6 Any items that have been damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery, won't be accepted for return.
3.7 Before placing an order, confirm the product name, image thoroughly and photograph the item for your records.
3.8 Stationery items are not returnable after purchase (except as required by law).
4. Handmade Products
Returns on custom, handmade products that have had different customization options, including any configurations, inscriptions, or designs (such as engravings, stamps, and monograms, embroidery, embossing, etching or carving) are as follows:
4.1 You must notify us or the third-party seller within 14 days of receipt.
4.2 Due to personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, the third-party seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged or defective upon arrival.
4.3 If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the third-party seller, you are protected per the BirdLife Botswana guarantee.
4.4 Products without all applicable tags are not acceptable for return.
