BIRD MONITORING PROJECT

The BPM Program was started in 2010 and is part of the global effort to monitor terrestrial birds around the world - Help us monitor!

This program involves volunteers in monitoring vultures, including their breeding sites and mortality.  Help us by reporting vulture sightings.

LUCARA BOTSWANA

Together, Lucara Botswana and BirdLife Botswana are poised to make significant strides in safeguarding our planet's rich biodiversity heritage for future generations.

SLATY EGRET

An iconic and much sought after bird in Northern Botswana, Birdlife Botswana aims to learn more about the distribution and habits of this little studied bird.

Birdlife Botswana was involved in the drilling and equipping of a borehole in the Mabuasehube Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

HWANGE-KAZUMA-CHOBE

This project aims to address the human-wildlife conflict in the northern region of Botswana as well as Zimbabwe and Zambia.
